MUSICAL JOURNEY
Jiran Seyn began his professional music career in 2016, following his time at Makerere University where he trained as a visual artist. However, his passion for music started much earlier—writing his first song at just 14 years of age and developing his performance skills through dance and live expression.
His early journey saw him join the Milege Acoustic Project, where he performed on major stages like the Milege Festival, sharpening his live performance and musical foundation.
Driven by a desire to evolve his sound, he transitioned from acoustic roots into a more commercial Afro-pop and Afro-soul direction, working with different studios and refining his artistry independently before stepping into a more defined professional phase.
Before joining Trroy Music, Jiran’s journey was marked by creative exploration, independent releases, and live performance growth, including projects like his early album Nina Esuubi.
